The Washington State Urology Society Membership Committee is responsible for the recruitment of urologists, Advanced Practice Providers who work in urology, urology Practice Managers, and Corporations who are involved in the practice of urology.
Benefits of Membership
Advocacy. We represent YOU. Both in Olympia, and Washington, DC, as well as to the citizens of Washington State, members can rest assured that WSUS is working on behalf of their patients, practices and the specialty of urology.
Education. WSUS provides a yearly in-person CME meeting, and produces a podcast to educate members and patients about topics related to urologic and overall health.
Networking. WSUS meetings, committees, and associated events allow members the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with other urology providers practicing in Washington State.
Collaboration.Membership provides access to the only Washington State-specific online, peer-to-peer collaboration platform (WSUS DocMatter channel). This has been designed to provide a forum to discuss topics related to the practice of urology. Every physician has a unique combination of experiences, expertise and interests and DocMatter provides them with a time-saving platform to discover, share and learn. This is moderated to stay on topic, HIPAA compliant, and is only for members who are urology practitioners.
Leadership Development. WSUS meetings are open to all members, and participation in committees is welcome. Primary committees of the society include; Government Affairs, Membership, Men's Health, Pediatric Urology and Women's Health.
The Membership Committee is always open to receive ideas and suggestions as to how to improve our organization.
