Special Events

Women in Urology

(photos from 3rd Annual event)
Washington State Women in Urology lead the way
More than 30 Washington State women in urology (WIU) gathered on Wed Oct 2, 2019 at the Hotel Andra in Seattle, WA for the 3rd annual Women in Urology Fall Leadership event.  It was a huge success based on member engagement and feedback. A Leadership Roundtable discussion
followed by a team building activity.  We did introductions, celebrated highpoints, and discussed challenges we face.  The conversations and connections continued in the Hot Stove Society and we did an interactive cook along with local restauranteur and celebrity chef Tom Douglas of his greatest hits dishes.  Washington State women urologists are leading the way, and other states are looking to us as an example.  Look out for many more great things from this group of amazing women.
