What is the PALS study? Prostate Cancer Active Lifestyle Study
The PALS Study is a new study for prostate cancer patients who have chosen active surveillance of their cancer. The purpose is to determine whether weight loss through a structured diet and activity program will improve the short and long term health of men with low grade prostate cancer.
PALS will enroll approximately 200 overweight or obese men who are scheduled to undergo a follow-up biopsy for Active Surveillance.
