What is the PALS study?  Prostate Cancer Active Lifestyle Study

The PALS Study is a new study for prostate cancer patients who have chosen active surveillance of their cancer.  The purpose is to determine whether weight loss through a structured diet and activity program will improve the short and long term health of men with low grade prostate cancer
.

PALS will enroll approximately 200 overweight or obese men who are scheduled to undergo a follow-up biopsy for Active Surveillance.
